Commerce City Schools is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and passionate Math teacher at Commerce Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. QUALIFICATIONS: 

Valid, clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate Math (4-8, K-5, 6-12). 

Gifted certification and ESOL certification a plus.

REPORTS TO: Building level administration 

SALARY: Based on state and local schedules + 10% local supplement; 10-month contract. Salary and work year to be determined by the Commerce City Schools Board of Education. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Use data, technology, and a wide variety of instructional strategies to plan and implement differentiated instruction for all students.

2. Use the Marzano Instructional Framework to design effective lessons that ensure high expectations for learning by all students with differentiation to ensure content mastery. 

3. Plan for authentic learning experiences for students that deepen understanding of content while providing rigor. 

4. Understand the importance of using assessments to guide remediation practices to meet the needs of all students. 

5. As a professional educator, continually seek ways to develop and learn to enhance your practice during the school year and, as needed, during the summer. 

6. Perform all other duties as assigned by the administration.
