Part Time Speech Language Pathologist

Part Time Speech Language Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides therapy and support at an appropriate level.
  2. Monitors progress toward IEP goals and objectives on a regular basis.
  3. Provides and/or supervises interventions for students with speech/language concerns who are currently served through a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
  4. Completes assessments in the area of speech and language to determine eligibility for special education.
  5. Completes assessments for screening purposes to determine interventions in the area of speech and language.
  6. Must be proficient in collecting and entering data for Medicaid billing.
  7. Must be proficient in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Eligibility reports for students who are eligible for special education services.
  8. Maintains current and accurate records as required by law, policies, and procedures.
  9. Collaborates with other service providers.
  10. Maintains confidentiality

Requirements
Hold a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders AND have a Georgia License for Speech Language Pathologist OR GAPSC Certification in the area of Speech-Language Pathology AND have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence OR working on getting ASHA CCC.
