Part Time Speech Language Pathologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides therapy and support at an appropriate level.
- Monitors progress toward IEP goals and objectives on a regular basis.
- Provides and/or supervises interventions for students with speech/language concerns who are currently served through a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Completes assessments in the area of speech and language to determine eligibility for special education.
- Completes assessments for screening purposes to determine interventions in the area of speech and language.
- Must be proficient in collecting and entering data for Medicaid billing.
- Must be proficient in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Eligibility reports for students who are eligible for special education services.
- Maintains current and accurate records as required by law, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborates with other service providers.
- Maintains confidentiality
Requirements
Hold a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders AND have a Georgia License for Speech Language Pathologist OR GAPSC Certification in the area of Speech-Language Pathology AND have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence OR working on getting ASHA CCC.
