CMS Math Interventionist 49%
Position Summary:
Commerce Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Interventionist to provide targeted instructional support to students in grades 6–8. This is a part-time position (49%) focused on identifying and addressing student learning gaps in mathematics through data-driven interventions and small group instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver small group and one-on-one math interventions based on student needs.
Analyze student data to identify skill gaps and monitor progress.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to support students at risk of not meeting grade-level math standards.
Participate in data team meetings and contribute to individualized intervention plans.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and families.
Use evidence-based strategies aligned with the school’s curriculum and instructional goals.
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia teaching certificate with Mathematics (4–8) or Elementary Education certification (required).
Strong understanding of the Georgia Standards of Excellence in mathematics.
Experience providing academic interventions or support services preferred.
Ability to use assessment data to guide instruction and adjust interventions.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
