Pre- K Paraprofessional

Job Summary:
The Pre-K Paraprofessional assists the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for four-year-old students in Georgia’s Pre-K Program.

Essential Duties:

Support instruction and classroom management under the direction of the Lead Teacher.

Supervise children during instructional time, meals, transitions, and outdoor play.

Assist with classroom setup, cleaning, and maintaining materials.

Help document student progress and support family engagement activities.

Attend required training and professional development as outlined by Bright from the Start.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must meet Georgia’s Pre-K credential requirements for assistant teachers through Bright from the Start. Valid paraprofessional certificate.


Hours:

Full-time: 8 hours per day.
