Position: Varsity Head Wrestling Coach

School: Commerce High School

Description:

Commerce City Schools is seeking a dedicated and motivated Head Wrestling Coach for

Commerce High School. Commerce High School has a rich tradition of athletic excellence

and competitive success, and the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and

developing the school’s wrestling program while positively impacting student-athletes both

on and off the mat.

Duties:

Lead and manage all aspects of the high school wrestling program

Develop student-athletes in skill, discipline, sportsmanship, and character

Plan and conduct practices, competitions, and off-season activities

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administration, and staff

Oversee program organization, equipment, and facilities

Ensure compliance with GHSA rules, school policies, and district procedures

Qualifications:

Previous head wrestling coaching experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Commitment to the academic success and character development of student-athletes

Teaching Field:

All teaching fields will be considered.

Employment Terms:

Coaching supplement; teaching position available based on certification and system needs.
